If Winflip is copywrighted, could you consider going open-source?

Using a license like creative commons, or a GPL.

If you used one of those, coders that use winflip could find bugs and fix them.

People could also add new features, or maybe optimize the code.

If you don't want people to sell Winflip on Ebay, you COULD use a license that restricts selling winflip for money.

Benefits:
Coders using winflip could fix bugs and send them to the team, add new features, optimize the code, etc..
Would be considered free license(more of a message for the homepage Tongue)
Post any other benefits i guess.(or google 'benefits of open source)

Hi asdf21 Smiley

Sorry for my late reply Undecided

I don't provide the source code now.

Someone else asked me exactly same question before.
At that time,I replied

"I want to do it. But, Currently the source code is realy messed up noone can understand except me.
And, I wanna put few more function before provide the source code."

Now, Still the source code is messed up.
I think I should take a time just for rebuild the source code from the begining.
It requires much time. and I don't have spare time now.

And, If I provide the source code, It must be completely free.
However if someone just change the title and provide it, I don't care.
Is that strange?

Allright, well, will you make winflip opensource when it's v 1.00?

And, what does 'And, If I provide the source code, It must be completely free.
However if someone just change the title and provide it, I don't care.
Is that strange?' mean?

Thanks, asdf.

It means he doesn't care if someone redistributed the program as their own, without even modifying it, and taking the credit themselves.

Sure he means: "It is a little strange to me if you are proposing that I should give my project away, having laboured hard on it, so that others would use it to promote their names."

No, like i said, you could use a license that requires them to give you credit.
