Hi, Peter, and welcome to the board.

Could I suggest you post a new topic in Feature Suggestions, more clearly outlining what you want?

I'd like to confirm the Outlook 2007 bug. I'm running on XP SP3 RC2. However this problem has been occuring since SP2.

When WinFlip is running, Outlook can be launched but you can't do anything... every mouse click causes a default beep and it does not show up in ALT-TAB but it does show up in task manager's applications.
However, if I launch *another* instance of Outlook with the previous still running the second instance works. I can close the secondary Outlook normally, but the original one needs to be killed via task manager.

Thanks

Which version are you using now?
If you are usning ver.0.42, Could you try the debug version(Ver.0.421 or later) pls?
You can get them from the URL below.

Hello All...

First off... Im new to WinFlip and lovin it!

The only downside is the reason I'm posting in this forum... Outlook freezes on first launch when WinFlip is running.

Outlook 2007 sp1, WinFlip 424Debug (tried the 422D as well, same issue)
Windows XP sp2 - Winflip is not set to launch at startup, I launch it manually after boot.

Outlook is totally unresponsive on first launch, no mouse over responses, no clicks, nothing... If I kill Outlook in Task Manager, and/or launch a second instance it runs fine. This issue was killing my whole system until I unchecked the notify me of critical errors in the Computer Properties, now it just kills Outlook. Wink

Also exiting out of WinFlip after I have launched Outlook (and it's frozen) does not seem to change anything, Outlook will remain frozen until killed in Task Man. or re-launched.

Luckily, I use Thunderbird... so Outlook is rarely launched except for calendar and contacts. So, this is something I can kind of live with for now, it's a small price to pay for WinFlip...  Smiley

Thanks again... Hopefully you guys can get this sorted... Let me know if I can be of any help!

~~~~~
As I'm sitting here this evening... I got ready to launch Outlook, so I killed WinFlip and launched outlook... then re-launched Winflip... As I started using Outlook, I opened one of my appointments on the calendar - and WinFlip gave me a "Memory could not be read" exception error. I didn't think to write down the code and couldn't reproduce it immediately, but if I see it again I'll write the code down. Nothing really happened besides the error, everything kept going along as expected... Thought you may find that interesting...
Hello,
I love winflip but Outlook compatibility bug is very annoying  Undecided. I'm using Winflip 0.50 and Outlook isn't able to receive click or key when winflip is running. If I close (kill) Outlook and launch it again, all become right.
If I could help winflip dev team, let me know  Smiley
I can't reproduce the problem with either windows or office outlook version. Try Options > Other > Uncheck "Capture screenshot when a new window appears."
