While running WinFlip, my Outlook 2007 doesn't seem to work correctly. It starts, but then it freezes. After uninstalling WinFlip, it works fine again. Anyone else encounters this problem? Is there a known solution? It sucks, cause WinFlip looks awesome!

Hi oswald Welcome to WinFlip Message Board! Could you just try the debug version below? http://www.tokyodownstairs.com/binary/WinFlip0421Debug.zipI can't reproduce the problem on Outlook 2007. But Me and kHaN had same kind of problem on "Paint.NET". I fixed that one. So, I think your problem is fixed as well Regards

Hi Wilfried, Did you have this freezing problem with the debug version of WinFlip, or the current stable version? Regards, - Amos

Same situation with debug version.
I already looked into some more detail in it.
It only occurs, when I start winflip first. If I do start Outlok first, and after tha winflip no trouble.
Outlook hangs after starting - Window is open already - messages loaded -> then no further reaction to my clicking, even closing X not possible closing only task manager.
Best Regards

Hi,
what version of outlook did you try ? They additional problem in XARA xtrem only occurs with the bitmap editor. So you need to load bitmap into XARA (drag and drop possible) and then double click to it. The internal editor loads the bitmap. This is were I had trouble.

Hi Wilfried and Koji I just have to report that I experienced the same problem: Outlook freezes after startup while WinFlip is running. This happened on two different PC's, with Outlook 2007 and WinFlip 0.4.22 Debug Version. Hope you can fix it! Geo

Hi Koji Maybe this will help you with fixing the Outlook 2007 bug (or maybe you already know this) I started Outlook 2007 while WinFlip was running in the background. 1) The GUI did not fully load. Some of the folders were gone. 2) Input to Outlook didn't work. It just played the default windows beep each time I clicked. 3) Most importantly - Outlook did not crash. I could still see how it downloaded my mail. I just couldn't use the program. So this bug only effects the GUI and the user input. Good luck with fixing it! You said that fixing the random system freeze bug is on top of your to-do list. Please put the Outlook 2007 bug second from the top! (To be honest, I get this bug way more than the other one, but understand that the other one is top priority.) Thanks for you hard work. Geo

A quick observation: I suspect this is linked to the blank MS Office / dialog box probalems myself and a few others experience. Keep up the good work, Koji, and thanks for your contribution, Geo.

Hi,
just wanna tell you, that i have exactly the same problem with Winflip and Outlook 2007 on my pc.
When Winflip is started before Outlook, the problem occurs. The Outlook-GUI is on the screen, but no action can be taken. When I do ALT-TAB in this situation, i don't see the Outlook-Task ...
When Outlook is started before Winflip, everything is OK.
