Hi,

I notice that any programs that run using the GTK+ Environment are not properly displayed - the window contents is shown as black. This is a pain for me, since the software I use - Pidgin instant messenger, OpenOffice.org, the GIMP - all use the GTK+ Environment. Can this be fixed? Example screenshot below.

Cheers,

Amos

I noticed this too (use XChat, Pidgin, OOo), but this is not something of WinFlip, and thus more a suggestion than a bug.

Try installing the Windows Powertoy for alt-tab preview, and you get the same kind of view. It's probably some struggle between GTK+ and Windows..

I realised that the same happened with a few other Windows add-ons (including the alt-tab powertoy), but I wasn't sure whether or not it was something that could be solved within the program. Ah, well.

Hi amosharper Smiley

Thanks for the bug report.

Some of app doesn't provide the screen shot for the other app.(But the user can take screen shot by pressing the PrintScreen key)
Especialy Java app doesn't.(I think GTK app as well)

The document about that bug.

The follow-up comment from TheZeroorez is correct.
I think I can't fix that kind of prob.(but I'll try to make it better Smiley)

BTW you are not using the original alphabet image, right?
Can I have that image pls?(Only if you don't mind)

Have a nice weekend Wink

Thanks for your follow-up, Koji.

Nah, I wasn't too keen on the lettering so I replaced it with my own (Trebuchet MS is the font). I noticed that it replaces pure white (#FFFFFF) with transparency, but doesn't allow for alpha gradients - why is this?

The alphabet I made is attached. Enjoy Wink
