First off, let me say I love this program - big productivity booster. Congrats on developing this software.

I looked through the common bugs and did a search for "powerpoint", but can't find any topics about an issue I'm having, so seeking help here.

When I have two or more powerpoint windows open and flip them, I get 1 regular functioning powerpoint window image, plus 1 non-functioning blank rectangles for each powerpoint window I have open. Example: if I have 3 ppt windows going, when I flip them I'll get 1 normal image I can select, and 3 additional blank rectangles that don't work. If I select one of the 3 blank rectangles, it takes me to a seemingly random one of my 3 powerpoint files. If I have one powerpoint window open, everything works normally and I can select it when I flip.

I don't have this problem with any other program, just powerpoint. I use RocketDock, but this problem persists even when I turn off RocketDock.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Also thank you for using search. The issue was once mentioned there. No problem.

This is the common behavior for Microsoft Office windows opened as other instances of the same application. PrintWindow API (as well as DWMAPI by the way) show previews only of the active MS office window, and thus of all powerpoint windows open there will be just one preview of the active powerpoint window. Same with Flip 3D in Vista/7:

Unfortunately there is not much to do about it.  Sad

Thanks for the reply! I hadn't noticed that starting new instances could work around this, so I'll use that, thanks.

Right,

but I should say that opening new Microsoft programs from the Start menu helps but not always. For example, this way you can open as many Excel or Word windows as you want and WinFlip will show them all fine. But this method doesn't work for MS Powerpoint.
