Display adapter on the PC show 'Intel(R)82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller' as the driver in use
Display adapter in Virtual PC shows 'S3 Trio32/64' as the driver in use

I'm afraid I wouldn't be optimistic about running any applications that make heavy use of 3D on a virtual machine.

as Amos has said you will not get any luck with WinFlip on virtual pc. I once tried and I too got the same failure message. WinFlip can not start on a virtual machine because the virtual VGA S3 Trio32/64 acts seperately from your real VGA and does not meet the necessary Direct3D requirements, such as HAL.

If you need better task switching on your virtual machine, then I would suggest you try the freeware TaskSwitchXp - it is not as nice but it works on Microsoft Virtual PC.

You may want to try it in VMPlayer or in Virtual Box, enabling 3d acceleration for virtual machines.
