Hello tech,

the blue screen pc error occurs because of :

- malfunctioning hardware  or poorly-written device drivers
- incompatible DLLs or bugs in the kernel of the operating system (you should update your OS via microsoft update)
- physical faults such as faulty memory, power supplies, overheating of computer components, or hardware running beyond its specification limits such as in a case of overclocking

It is in NO way connected to WinFlip, MF, CStar, nor DeskHedron.

It is your specific case that you should research, analyze, and dicide on how to make your pc life better. This is very general, and I should add that the blue screen occurs on any pc and is Ok if it happens rarely.

I might need to clarify: the blue screen pc error is not caused by WinFlip, ClickStar2, Magic Formation, nor DeskHedron, especially that no reports have so far proven any of the software to cause the error.

To figure out what causes the blue screen error, it is worth to check:

1. How often does the blue screen PC error pop up ? Did the error begin right after the installation of a certain software which may conflict with the OS ? Could a virus have snuck into my system ?
2. Is my OS/software being updated legally and regurlarly ?
3. Did I just install a newer version of a driver which started to regularly cause the error ?
4. Am I doing any hardware overclocking ?
5. Did the error happen before as regularly as now ?

This general list can be continued of course, and to locate and fix the cause of the error one should do his own research and analysis.

Once I had the blue screen of death as a result of trying beta drivers for my hardware, so I reinstalled the regular versions and I have not had the error ever since. Overclocking can be the cause. It is impossible to figure out offhand, sorry Tech. Hope you'll find it out soon and I wish you good luck on this.

This is in the off-topic board, I think it's alright to post about off-topic stuff!

Following on from what Roman said, the BSoD is a system error most often to do with failing hardware, or possibly mismatching or bad drivers.

I would suggest updating your drivers for all of your main components if you can find them and seeing if this helps. You can usually find device drivers on the manufacturer's website.

Please note the BSoD message itself may give you some clue as to what is going wrong.

Hope this helps!

If you're talking to me Roman, sorry, my windows 98 doesn't support internet.

And I miscalculated it happened on the Windows 98 every time I turn it on.
