Now and then it happens that WinFlip corrupts it's exception list, especially after hibernation under WinXPSP3. On my Acer notebook there is a program running having an invisible window, which of course I do not want to see when flipping.

When the exception list gets corrupted I can not end winflip without the interaction of DrWatson. It also cannot be started correctly any more. You have to manually edit the ini file to fix this problem. Write protection to the ini file is not a solution, because WinFlip reports the write protection every time it starts.

I've tried both options: "Use system memory instead of video memory" is not activated:

The entries:
EXCLUDECLASSNAME0=WindowsForms10.Window.8.app6
EXCLUDEPATHNAME0=C:\Acer\GraviSense\GraviSense.exe

corrupt to:
EXCLUDECLASSNAME0=˜>
EXCLUDEPATHNAME0= >

If the option "Use system memory instead of video memory" is activated it is not as reproducible but it happens too now and then.

Has anybody else expirienced the same?

The program code will be checked for the bug reported by you. Thank you for providing details.

For now, if the bug persists, try changing the WinFlip.ini attributes to "Read Only". And you're right:

- just click "Ok" on the error message and WinFlip will initialize.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

I'm on WinXP SP2, no hibernation setting so system is running all the time. Power schemes is set to turn off monitor after 30mins, hard disks after 2 hours and system standby never.

Microsoft ActiveSync opens up whenever I plug in my mobile device, but I don't want it to appear in WinFlip, so I put it in the exclusion list. Was away from the PC for more than 2 hours, and when I got back, WinFlip failed to load. The ini file shows some corrupted ascii characters which is not ActiveSync. Had to delete that to start WinFlip again.

Now I don't have any item in the exclusion list.
