Hey! I'm a noob, sorry, but I've had winflip for a while, and I love it, but I have to get rid of as much as possible on my comp, because it's slow as hell.  Sad
So, I was just wondering, How do I rid of winflip? It's not on my add/remove programs. Thanks in advance!  Grin

(1)Delete your WinFlip folder.
(2)If you've put WinFlip's shortcut in Startup, delete it.

Hello lolnoob,

 Roll Eyes

to add:

in www, one can find WinFlip installers, programs written by unknown 3rd parties to copy WinFlip to your hard drive and to add registration entries to run WinFlip on system start. This is direct violation of WinFlip distribution rules.

We do not recomend using such modified versions for two reasons :

1. We cannot guarantee that such 3rd party programs do not contain malware and function correctly

2. These programs do not have uninstallers, as you have correctly noticed in Add/Remove section, so manually removing the registration entries can be hard and dangerous

If this is your case, here is the easiest and safest way not to have WinFlip run on startup without your permission :

Start Menu > Run > type "msconfig" (no quotes) > click on "Startup" tab > find WinFlip.exe and uncheck the box

Restart whenever convenient.

If you use WinFlip downloaded from our site, official version, then just refer to Koji's reply :

My opinion

WinFlip does not consume much cpu, memory, or hard disk space. Sometimes you may want to run it, maybe not always and not with the system's start. Using the official version, it is enough to open WinFlip Options > Other > Click on "Don't run automatically"  - this will delete WinFlip shortcut from the Startup folder. And keep the program to run manually whenever you wish.
