Instead of fliping with the win xp msstyles, you may flip with aero styles(glass effect for complete vista-like experience).
Those aero styles(*.png files) can be downloaded by googling "true transparency". Grin

is a great idea, thank you for suggesting.

There's a technical difficulty to drawing aero borders generated by certain software as true transparency. Other programs as Window Blinds and Vystalvivid show aero bordes fine. There are technical aspects to this.

What I personally think of is showing aero borders optionally (artificially replacing the real ones), no matter what msstyle, this could be worth a solution.

Our best regards.

I have to say that WinBlinds isn't free, whilst UXTHEME PATCH is. It replaces the standard UXTHEME.DLL with a "cracked/hacked" version, which lets you open more .MsStyles (Like the zune theme).

I never use the default Windows skins, I use cutsom made ones through use of MSStyles skins, which only work if you have a patched /Windows/System32/uxtheme.dll as mentioned above (welcome to the forum, SweFlipper!)

There's a fantastic guide to patching your uxtheme.dll and using MSStyles skins here:

Here are some good themes once you're done:

Browse a load here:

Have fun!
